      What is the difference between barbering and cosmetology?

      Barbering focuses on cutting, fading, shaving and grooming. Cosmetology covers hair cutting, styling and color plus skin and nail care. Both programs are 1,000 hours in California.

      Can I go to school at night?

      Yes. SCCBB offers day, part-time and night schedules for many programs. Admissions confirms which schedules are open for your start date.

      Is financial aid available?
